Samsung launches new versions of Galaxy A7, A5

Samsung recently regained the top spot in Indian smartphone market after losing out to Micromax a year ago.

A leaked listing had surfaces online which showcased some of the features the brand new flagship will be coming with. Do keep in mind that most Samsung handsets from the Galaxy family are noted for their high specs, not for their battery life. Samsung confirmed that it is holding Unpacked 2016 on 21 February at 19:00 CET, in Barcelona.

Samsung may feel immensely proud of its popular Note series, but the Galaxy Note 5 was an absolute disappointment with nothing new and exciting. This information has been shared widely across the social media.

Flex storage is a combined storage feature for internal and external space, which makes it applicable only to devices with micro SD slot.

What will the new device be called? The three size based variants are the Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 Edge Plus.

The main rear camera will come coupled with a front facing camera of 7 megapixels, which can also record videos of up to 1920 x 1080 Full HD in resolution.

One of the biggest surprises which Samsung gave to its fan with the Galaxy S6 was the launch of two models - one offering flat and the other offering curved 'Edge' display.

Amidst all this, we know for certain that Samsung will update almost a dozen of its devices to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The leaked info was, however, a little bit lenient and provided a little more detail about the two phones - their model numbers.

So now, only Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be released.

Both those phones generally last about a day (or less, depending on how you use it), so it's entirely possible that the S7 would last longer by virtue of having a larger battery.

The first image comes from Vietnamese site Review Dao, reportedly picturing the back of the 32GB Galaxy S7 model. Below is a comparison between the Galaxy S7 and LG G5 for those who are deciding which one to buy. Now it seems that Samsung also agrees that this was a mistake and will be reversing its decision if this report is to be believed.
