Pictures of HTC's next flagship smartphone just leaked

Unlike its predecessors from the M series, the leaked image showed that the phone has a touch fingerprint home button.

Previous reports have suggested HTC will be going all out with the HTC One M10 (codenamed Perfume) as it seeks to revive flagging sales. While Samsung has seen images and details regarding both smartphones leak, one of its main rivals, HTC has managed to keep its upcoming flagship smartphone under lock and key, until now.

Meanwhile, the company may ditch the front-facing Boomsound speakers from the device, which isn't likely to be revealed until after this month's MWC 2016 show. And how about that, it looks like the A9.

While HTC has used Mobile World Congress in the past to take the wraps off of its next-gen flagship smartphone, the company is reportedly planning to take the wraps off the HTC One M10 at a press event in March. The removal of the annoying HTC logo on the front also results in the higher screen-to-body ratio. It is said to have 5.1 QHD display, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.

It will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8.0 UI on top. The display is only interrupted by an oval shaped Home button, speaker and a front-facing camera. One other feature that's rumored to be coming with the One M10 is a 12-UltraPixel rear camera, which is a switch from the One M9's more traditional 20-megapixel camera.

Droid Life noted that HTC has not abandoned its impression on copying Apple's design as the HTC One A9 already raised eyebrows due to its similarities with the iPhone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 (S820) Review

This year has been difficult for smartphones, which is a bit of a paradox when you consider just how much better things have gotten compared to last year. With Snapdragon 820, 650, 652, and 625 we've finally moved past the shadow of the Snapdragon 810, 808, and 617/615. While there were Android devices that shipped with the Exynos 7420, they were often paired with a modem that was not necessarily the most power efficient. Despite all of this, there seems to be a general disappointment with smartphones. People are increasingly finding it hard to justify phones like the HTC 10 or Galaxy S7 with competition from OnePlus, Xiaomi, and even Apple with their iPhone SE. In this context the Galaxy Note7 brings much of the flavor of the Galaxy S7 edge, but blends it with the S-Pen of the Note line and a few new features like the iris scanner. If you were paying attention to the industry with the launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note5, it's very much more of the same rather than the m
