Android Marshmallow Coming To Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge

In a few days, Samsung is expected to unveil its two newest smartphones Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

That apart the latest leak seems to inadvertently point at the possibility that Samsung Galaxy S7 might be waterproof just like it was the case with Galaxy S5.

The pictures of the cases below show mock-ups of the Galaxy S7, but - of course - we would not declare these to be leaks or claiming to portray the actual phone. With the impending release of a slew of smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2016, there has been a flurry of leaks and images from the various phone manufacturers. The phone is also seen being used with a wireless charging pad.

In addition, Samsung shows off the device's wireless charging capabilities in the video, as well as S Health connected to the Gear S2.

Samsung made an official announcement that Android 6.0 Marshmallow is available for owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge. Samsung also looks to be using a t rue black color for the device this time around, rather than last year's dark blue color option. As for the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, the company has not specified if the larger smartphone would also receive the update, the report details.

"Both the S7 and S7 Edge will likely retain the same resolution (qHD 1440 x 2560) as their predecessors", The Verge reported. You should automatically get the notification to update your phone OTA but if you don't, you can go to the settings and check for the updates manually.

The smartphones may come with new Snapdragon 820 in the United States market, sticking with its own silicon - Samsung's Exynos processors - elsewhere.

Heat go back to work, without Bosh at practiceAdded former Heat teammate LeBron James: "Guy means so much to not only the Heat family but his personal family as well". Bosh, 31, was set to play in the All-Star Game last week, but pulled out after a "strained right calf" injury.

The South Korean technology firm recently used its flexible display technology in the award-winning Galaxy S6 Edge, which has a dual curved QHD screen. However this latest patent, which was published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, shows the company has bolder ambitions for its curved displays. The illustrations filed with the approved patent reveal a cylindrical hub, which houses the rolled display – which unfurls like a pair of window blinds. HTC 10 vs Samsung Galaxy S7 / Edge vs LG G5

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 (S820) Review

This year has been difficult for smartphones, which is a bit of a paradox when you consider just how much better things have gotten compared to last year. With Snapdragon 820, 650, 652, and 625 we've finally moved past the shadow of the Snapdragon 810, 808, and 617/615. While there were Android devices that shipped with the Exynos 7420, they were often paired with a modem that was not necessarily the most power efficient. Despite all of this, there seems to be a general disappointment with smartphones. People are increasingly finding it hard to justify phones like the HTC 10 or Galaxy S7 with competition from OnePlus, Xiaomi, and even Apple with their iPhone SE. In this context the Galaxy Note7 brings much of the flavor of the Galaxy S7 edge, but blends it with the S-Pen of the Note line and a few new features like the iris scanner. If you were paying attention to the industry with the launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note5, it's very much more of the same rather than the m
