Samsung to Launch Two New Mid-range Phones Today in India

Aside from mid-range Galaxy phone series, South Korean technology company, Samsung is also focusing its attention on tablets in its Galaxy Tab series, as the tech giant is preparing to launch a recycled version of the Galaxy Tab 4, first unveiled in 2014. Going by the prices for 2016 models revealed for the China market, J5 is priced at KRW 290,000 (approximately Rs 17,000), while the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) has been priced at KRW 363,000 (approximately Rs 21,000).

Last year, Samsung launched the 2015 models of the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in India at Rs 11,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively. Soon the phone surfaced on Spanish and French sites of Samsung but was not formally launched in Europe.

As for the camera, the Galaxy J3 sports a 5-megapixel main rear camera with a 2-megapixel front snnaper for selfies and other similar purposes.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) specifications and features: It flaunts a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED HD (720p) display. It has 3GB of RAM and carries a 3300 mAh battery.

The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. It's a dual SIM handset and has 4G LTE connectivity. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM. Much like its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab 4, the Advanced edition is another 10.1-inch display slate with 1280 x 800 resolution. Both phones come in Gold, Pink, and White color choices and include NFC supporting Samsung Pay. When we hear the confirmed Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) prices for India and availability details, we'll be sure to let you know.
