2016 editions of Samsung Galaxy J5, Galaxy J7 smartphones launched

Developed inside Samsung's Indian R&D centres, the S-Bike Mode was geared towards bringing biking and mobility together. "We had an overall markshare of 48.6% in the first quarter of 2016", said Manu Sharma, director-mobile business at Samsung India, at the launch 2016 editions of Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5.

The Chinese brand's first smartphone to officially sell stateside is going to give the updated Samsung Galaxy J7 a stern contest, mainly because of how hard it is to decide between the two considering how close their specs are to each other. Both the Galaxy J5 and J7 don't feel heavy in hands. In the meantime, similar to its predecessor, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced will not be available in all regions. It's nice to see Samsung continuing with the trend in its mid-range and affordable smartphone segment as well. Consumers wanted these features and we delivered those through our J series. While Galaxy J7 2016 is available for Rs.15,990, the Galaxy J5 2016 is priced at Rs.13,990. Both the phones look (and feel) way better than the Galaxy J3 2016 in every sense of the word.

When the glass edge of the phone collided with the glass of the table I initially didn't panic. It has a bigger 5.5-inch Full HD display with a 3,300 mAh battery, only slightly bigger than what Samsung has provided in the Galaxy J5. Batteries on the phone have also been enhanced in comparison to the last-gen models. Especially if this new model features the high quality build of the S7 series. This should give some competition to the A7 and models like Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. The button on the right is the back button and the left one is the recents.

Both the phones sport 720p Super AMOLED displays. So, if you want to get confirmed news about the design you want to wait a little more. T-Mobile's version sports 2GB of RAM (up from 1.5), and it comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow preinstalled. The J7 is the only one among the four phones which comes with Android 6 and it is not known how good Marshmallow's RAM management is.

Both phones have the same 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera. Measuring 243.4×176.4×7.9mm device will weigh 487 g.The tablet may also get a 6,800 mAh battery for up to 10 hours of internet usage, 10 hours of video playback and 128 hours of music playback.

This includes 4G experience with the innovative Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode.

The South Korean technology firm recently used its flexible display technology in the award-winning Galaxy S6 Edge, which has a dual curved QHD screen. However this latest patent, which was published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, shows the company has bolder ambitions for its curved displays. The illustrations filed with the approved patent reveal a cylindrical hub, which houses the rolled display – which unfurls like a pair of window blinds. The Samsung Galaxy Note7 (S820) Review

This year has been difficult for smartphones, which is a bit of a paradox when you consider just how much better things have gotten compared to last year. With Snapdragon 820, 650, 652, and 625 we've finally moved past the shadow of the Snapdragon 810, 808, and 617/615. While there were Android devices that shipped with the Exynos 7420, they were often paired with a modem that was not necessarily the most power efficient. Despite all of this, there seems to be a general disappointment with smartphones. People are increasingly finding it hard to justify phones like the HTC 10 or Galaxy S7 with competition from OnePlus, Xiaomi, and even Apple with their iPhone SE. In this context the Galaxy Note7 brings much of the flavor of the Galaxy S7 edge, but blends it with the S-Pen of the Note line and a few new features like the iris scanner. If you were paying attention to the industry with the launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note5, it's very much more of the same rather than the m
