Foldable Samsung Galaxy X smartphone with 4K resolution display arriving in 2017

The world's largest smartphone manufacturer is going to launch five flagship smartphones in 2017, as per the speculations.

The Galaxy S7 series got released toward the end of the first quarter, while Samsung is gearing up to release Galaxy Note 6 in August this year.

The Galaxy A9 features an elegant glass exterior and it looks really fancy. It is available in Gold, Black and White colors but sadly no Silver. The metal side frame is colored appropriately for the three variations of the Galaxy A9.

Processor: Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 sports a quad core Snapdragon 410 SoC with 1.2 GHz in speed supported by 2GB of RAM. Also, the two are boasting a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera with a LED flash.

However, the standard variant has its SIM tray divided between a microSD and a Nano-SIM card but in the Dual-SIM variant, you can replace the microSD with another SIM card.

The connectivity option of the J7 includes 4G LTE bands, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V4.1, and NFC.

The phone is also equipped with various types of sensors including a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope. Note that the Galaxy C5 and C7 will be a China-exclusive to begin with.

If you think Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are the best to come from Samsung yet, well, you might want to rethink that, especially with Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release looming. Also, the OTA updates are released in phases, and it might take a couple of days before users got a notification for an update.

One awesome feature of this phone is the water resistance. Why make a phone that folds? The new feature, named "Edge music controller" will let such owners manage and play tracks directly from the "Edge" panels in their devices. However, as mentioned already, the company does keep its flagships updated for much longer, and that being the case, is now rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to the LTE-A version of its 2014 flagship, the Galaxy S5 in South Korea.

Here is a chart which will give a clear view about both the latest smartphones. That's something the S6 never managed, remaining in second place behind the iPhone 6, and then the iPhone 6s.

HTC 10 vs Samsung Galaxy S7 / Edge vs LG G5

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 (S820) Review

This year has been difficult for smartphones, which is a bit of a paradox when you consider just how much better things have gotten compared to last year. With Snapdragon 820, 650, 652, and 625 we've finally moved past the shadow of the Snapdragon 810, 808, and 617/615. While there were Android devices that shipped with the Exynos 7420, they were often paired with a modem that was not necessarily the most power efficient. Despite all of this, there seems to be a general disappointment with smartphones. People are increasingly finding it hard to justify phones like the HTC 10 or Galaxy S7 with competition from OnePlus, Xiaomi, and even Apple with their iPhone SE. In this context the Galaxy Note7 brings much of the flavor of the Galaxy S7 edge, but blends it with the S-Pen of the Note line and a few new features like the iris scanner. If you were paying attention to the industry with the launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note5, it's very much more of the same rather than the m
