Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Rumors: Company Working on Curved Edge Variant for the Upcoming Smartphone?

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have been getting a ton of attention over the past couple of months. It has been the darling of the Android smartphone world and is expected to continue to become one of the top smartphones this year. With the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge release already done, Samsung fans are now looking forward to their next big release, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6, which is expected to be releasing later this year.

Even if the Note 6 is still several months away, it has not stopped people from dropping leaks and rumors for the upcoming device. The latest rumor is that Samsung is reportedly thinking about releasing two variants of the popular smartphone. According to a report from Forbes, Samsung is reportedly working on two designs for the upcoming phablet, with one having a flat screen and the other one having a curved edge screen.

This is certainly similar to what they have done with the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, which offer consumers two design options to choose from. While Samsung has previously released a Galaxy Note Edge smartphone in 2014, which feature a curved edge display, it has not really given the same design feature in the previous Galaxy Note flagships in the past couple of years.

According to Vine Report, the upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung is rumored to be launching in August and is expected to feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor, 6GB of RAM and a massive 4,000mAh battery.

While it remains to be seen if all of the early rumors are true, having a Galaxy Note 6 Edge version is surely going to be great news for countless tech lovers. Be sure to check back here soon to find out more news and updates from the Galaxy Note 6 as well as other great smartphones releasing soon.

Why do Android fanboys hate admitting that Samsung copied Apple?

It's impossible to cover the mobile market without diving into the good ol' "iOS vs. Android" debate from time to time. These are the two biggest mobile platforms on the planet, so they're constantly being compared. Likewise, Samsung and Apple are the world's top two smartphone vendors, so their phones are constantly pitted against each other as well. Of course, there's another reason Apple and Samsung are often mentioned in the same breath: after entering the market, Samsung quickly grew to become the top mobile device maker on the planet thanks in large part to Apple. First, Samsung did everything it possibly could to copy Apple's iPhone and iPad. Then, it spent billions upon billions of dollars belittling Apple products in TV, online, and print advertising. Samsung spent years positioning its own devices as the cool alternative to Apple's iPhone, and its efforts paid off big time. Even now, Samsung continues to copy Apple all the time acro
