Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release update: Phablet already in the works with 4000mAh battery?

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release may happen soon as the phablet is reportedly on the works.

While the upcoming Samsung phablet is still unconfirmed, rumors claimed that the device is in development stage. Leaks revealed that the smartphone is dubbed as "Grace" and hinted its specs and features.

Based on the leaks, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will boast the same screen size, but with a better pixel resolution. SamMobile reported that the phablet could feature a 5.8-inch 'Slim RGB' displayUnder the hood, the device will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 SoC and 6GB RAM, which will definitely boost the performance of the smartphone. While other reports claimed that the device will run with Samsung home grown Exynos 8890 chip.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will reportedly be equipped with USB Type-C ports to make the handset slimmer. As for the camera, "Samsung is working on a brand new 1/1.7-inch CMOS camera sensor with an aperture as wide as ƒ/1.4. The new sensor could have a resolution of anywhere between 18-24 megapixels. The company is also working on a new compact 1/2.3-inch camera sensor."

The phablet is also dust and water proof thanks for being IP68 certified. For security, Samsung will reportedly add both iris and fingerprint scanner. The highlight of Samsung Galaxy Note 6 rumors is the 4,000mAh battery, which raises the phablet above its competitors.

According to SamMobile, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release will take place in July, instead of September. Samsung has been launching the Galaxy Note series at IFA tech event in the fall, which is a day or two ahead the event.

Reports say that Samsung is mulling whether to release its new flagship smartphone in the summer since there will be lesser competition. Samsung is reportedly trying to avoid Apple fall launch of iPhone 7.

However, there is no official statement from the South Korean tech giant yet.

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 (S820) Review

This year has been difficult for smartphones, which is a bit of a paradox when you consider just how much better things have gotten compared to last year. With Snapdragon 820, 650, 652, and 625 we've finally moved past the shadow of the Snapdragon 810, 808, and 617/615. While there were Android devices that shipped with the Exynos 7420, they were often paired with a modem that was not necessarily the most power efficient. Despite all of this, there seems to be a general disappointment with smartphones. People are increasingly finding it hard to justify phones like the HTC 10 or Galaxy S7 with competition from OnePlus, Xiaomi, and even Apple with their iPhone SE. In this context the Galaxy Note7 brings much of the flavor of the Galaxy S7 edge, but blends it with the S-Pen of the Note line and a few new features like the iris scanner. If you were paying attention to the industry with the launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note5, it's very much more of the same rather than the m
