Galaxy Note 7: Samsung Will Start Its Mass Production in July

There were talks about Samsung working to release the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 earlier this year.

Samsung launched the Note 5 last year, and rumors have it that Samsung might skip the Note 6 smartphone version to jump on to the Note 7 this year. Here are the top 10 specifications and features of Galaxy Note 7 that will make it worthy upgrade over the Galaxy Note 5. The Galaxy Note 7 Edge is believed to have the model number SM-N935, similar to how the Galaxy S7 Edge has model number SM-G935.

So what changes are going to be implemented to Galaxy Note 7 if Samsung really wants it to sell well?

Meanwhile, reportedly, the Galaxy Note 7 will be coming with a dual-curved display, the variant of which with a flat display won't be available. They've both got 5-inch 1280x720 Super AMOLED displays, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, microSD slots for adding extra storage, and Android 6.0.1.

Meanwhile, a report from CNET stated that the tech giant is gearing up for an August roll out with a hefty supply of Galaxy Note 7 units ready for shipment. Moreover, with the invitation to the Unboxed event hinting towards the Galaxy Note 7, this name seems more plausible! It would follow the numerical convention established by the Note 5 (SM-N920) and the Note 4 (SM-N910).

The 5.8-inch smartphone is expected to be powered by either a Snapdragon 823 or an Exynos 8890, with 6GB of RAM providing the much needed benefits of extreme multitasking.

As SamMobile reports, the update also addresses a random cover-recognition issue apart from the initial video playback flickering issue with camera recording, and an intermittent issue that prevents use of camera from the lock screen on devices equipped with S View cover.

Furthermore, the phablet will be named as such due to the fact that the company named its latest flagship phones as Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge so that the numbering will be in sync within their device models. Based on the leaked image, the device will be released on August 2, 2016 at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in NY.

The South Korean technology firm recently used its flexible display technology in the award-winning Galaxy S6 Edge, which has a dual curved QHD screen. However this latest patent, which was published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, shows the company has bolder ambitions for its curved displays. The illustrations filed with the approved patent reveal a cylindrical hub, which houses the rolled display – which unfurls like a pair of window blinds. The Samsung Galaxy Note7 (S820) Review

This year has been difficult for smartphones, which is a bit of a paradox when you consider just how much better things have gotten compared to last year. With Snapdragon 820, 650, 652, and 625 we've finally moved past the shadow of the Snapdragon 810, 808, and 617/615. While there were Android devices that shipped with the Exynos 7420, they were often paired with a modem that was not necessarily the most power efficient. Despite all of this, there seems to be a general disappointment with smartphones. People are increasingly finding it hard to justify phones like the HTC 10 or Galaxy S7 with competition from OnePlus, Xiaomi, and even Apple with their iPhone SE. In this context the Galaxy Note7 brings much of the flavor of the Galaxy S7 edge, but blends it with the S-Pen of the Note line and a few new features like the iris scanner. If you were paying attention to the industry with the launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note5, it's very much more of the same rather than the m
