Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Release Date Rumors: Company Busy Working On New Phablet?

#GalaxyNote8 #GalaxyNote7 – Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Release Date Rumors: Company Busy Working On New Phablet? : Following the recall of Galaxy Note 7 owing to its exploding battery, rumors far and wide have indicated the end of the road for the Note series. Latest reports have it that the South Korean tech giant is instead now focusing on the Galaxy Note 8 that is expected to arrive sooner than later.

After the disappointing collapse of the Note 7 following its August launch, the world's top smartphone maker ended the Note 7 sales. Due to an expensive recall, earlier reports from Korea Herald indicated that Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 was to be the last in the series.

However, Samsung Electronics essentially confirmed the Galaxy Note 8, while offering upgrade program option to Galaxy Note 7 customers in South Korea.

In a statement to Reuters, Samsung did reveal plans to release the Note 8 sometime in 2017. "Samsung said customers who trade in their Note 7 phone for either a flat-screen or curved-screen version of the Galaxy S7 can trade up for a Galaxy S8 or Note 8 smartphone launching next year through an upgrade program."

The Galaxy Note 8 seems to be confirmed so far but of course, the question on everybody's mind is the release timing. Although Samsung has yet to make an official confirmation for the development and release date of the Galaxy Note 8, rumors have it that the company is expected to launch it soon in 2017.

The Note 7 initially launched in August 2016 but Samsung might unveil its next batch of Note 8 series earlier than summer 2017. Furthermore, for those interested in an earlier launch, Patrick Moorhead, the president and chief analyst of Moor Insights & Strategy, believes that the Galaxy Note will not be discontinued but dropped earlier.

"I don't see them dropping the Note brand," Moorhead told Inquisitr. "I think come January or March — January at CES or March at Mobile World Congress — they'll come out with a Note 8."

GALAXY NOTE 8 FEATURES

Features and specifications of the Note 8 are yet known. Of course, rumors and speculations give a pretty good idea for the future phablet from Samsung. Rumors have it that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Note 8 will support a 4K display for the first time.

Besides, Samsung is expected to completely redesign the S-Pen for this phablet release next year. It will ensure improved functionality for the device. After all, the S-Pen was something that made the Galaxy Note 7 stand out from the crowd in the past.

Additionally, early murmurings from those close to the Samsung supply chain reveal that the next-gen Galaxy Note 8 may benefit from a significant external redesign. In particular, it is believed that the phone may feature a new color choice and coating when it is released. Source: Thebitbag

The South Korean technology firm recently used its flexible display technology in the award-winning Galaxy S6 Edge, which has a dual curved QHD screen. However this latest patent, which was published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, shows the company has bolder ambitions for its curved displays. The Samsung Galaxy Note7 (S820) Review

This year has been difficult for smartphones, which is a bit of a paradox when you consider just how much better things have gotten compared to last year. With Snapdragon 820, 650, 652, and 625 we've finally moved past the shadow of the Snapdragon 810, 808, and 617/615. While there were Android devices that shipped with the Exynos 7420, they were often paired with a modem that was not necessarily the most power efficient. Despite all of this, there seems to be a general disappointment with smartphones. People are increasingly finding it hard to justify phones like the HTC 10 or Galaxy S7 with competition from OnePlus, Xiaomi, and even Apple with their iPhone SE. In this context the Galaxy Note7 brings much of the flavor of the Galaxy S7 edge, but blends it with the S-Pen of the Note line and a few new features like the iris scanner. If you were paying attention to the industry with the launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note5, it's very much more of the same rather than the m

Why do Android fanboys hate admitting that Samsung copied Apple?

It's impossible to cover the mobile market without diving into the good ol' "iOS vs. Android" debate from time to time. These are the two biggest mobile platforms on the planet, so they're constantly being compared. Likewise, Samsung and Apple are the world's top two smartphone vendors, so their phones are constantly pitted against each other as well. Of course, there's another reason Apple and Samsung are often mentioned in the same breath: after entering the market, Samsung quickly grew to become the top mobile device maker on the planet thanks in large part to Apple. First, Samsung did everything it possibly could to copy Apple's iPhone and iPad. Then, it spent billions upon billions of dollars belittling Apple products in TV, online, and print advertising. Samsung spent years positioning its own devices as the cool alternative to Apple's iPhone, and its efforts paid off big time. Even now, Samsung continues to copy Apple all the time acro
