The Galaxy A series is the mid-to-high range smartphones that Samsung introduced three years ago with the first Galaxy A, an entire metal phone with a sleek an elegant look.
Since then, has been a long road to what it is today, a blend between new and old.
Samsung Latin America announced the official availability of the Galaxy A5 and A7 for Central America in a simultaneous event for Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
Techbuzzireland editor Vicente was there and had the chance to talk with a Samsung representative about the fate of the A3 variant.
"Market Research proved that customers over those countries prefer bigger screens, reason why we offering these options principally, but we are leaving the option to get the A3 through the online store"
So, if you are one of those few that want a smaller body, the Samsung page is the way to go, but for the other two variants they are already hitting shelves nearby.
We already told about you about it when it became official early this year, and this time we had the chance to get some hands on with the device and enjoy more closely some of it more "esthetic" changes like the new speaker location.
Or the more rounded looks that makes it easily mistakable for an S7
And have some fun with the added IP68 rating which made it water and dust resistant for up to 30 min and 1.5 meters of water.
Who said you can't take a selfie on the pool?
Or whilst water skiing
The devices are going to be available in its full range of colors with Dual and Single Sim options and around the $400 (equivalent on the country) rage, a bit up or a bit close to that depending on the model.
We will have a full review on them soon so stay tuned for that.
