The update roadmap for Samsung's Galaxy line of smartphones and tablets recently leaked and it suggests that high-end model owners are the most fortunate.

We cannot vouch for the authenticity of the list, but we can relay the fact that it contains all important devices. On it, fans of the OEM's devices will find Galaxy Note 5 and S6 models, as well as more affordable handsets such as the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Alpha. Tablets also made it to the list, in the form of the Galaxy Tab S2.

The existing history of Android updates shows that Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge phones received Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow in January, and European devices started getting the latest OS in February. With this information, we can assume that the leaked roadmap is plausible, but we still advise you to take it with (at least) a pinch of salt.

Phone Arena was the first news outlet to get a hold of the list.

The leak tells that the international update to Marshmallow will land in March on the following devices: Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge+.

Owners of the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge must wait until April for the newest operating system version from Android. In May, the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Tab S2 (both 8-inch and 9.7-inch models) will get Android Marshmallow, while the Galaxy Alpha is the last of the pack, with an update scheduled for June.

The update is expected to arrive carrying the new and improved version of TouchWiz UI.

The Android Marshmallow update will not be limited to tablets and smartphones: an announcement from Samsung underlines that the latest OS is coming soon for Android Wear, as well.

Late last year, information permeated on Android Marshmallow's rollout.

According to the respective rumor, Android 6.0 should have arrived on the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ before the end of 2015. The inside source claimed that the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge would have followed in January 2016, with Galaxy Note Edge and Galaxy Note 4 following in the second month this year.
