As we get closer to Apple launching their new 2018 iPhones, Samsung's Propaganda Machine goes into High Gear

This is the anniversary year of the iconic iPhone and the excitement is building around the globe for the new high-end iPhone X with its 3D Sensing face side Camera delivering advanced facial recognition and an augmented reality dimension to it. It will be Apple's first iPhone with a top end 5.8" OLED display with the highest screen-to-body ratio of any smartphone currently available worldwide and will be powered by their next-generation iOS 11 supporting augmented reality applications. Apple's iPhone 7 and 7-Plus were the best selling smartphone models around the world with their 7-Plus model introducing a dual lens camera delivering the special bokeh effect in portrait mode, a professional mode that consumers love. The Samsung S8 due in August will finally catch up with Apple's camera feature. But as we get closer to launch, Samsung will be pulling out all the stops and cranking up their propaganda machine to make it like they own the number one smartphone model in th e world by blurring statistics to fool consumers.

Today Samsung's propaganda machine along with the help of the Korean press began to roll out sales pitch against Apple. A new report today states that "Samsung Electronics is expected to remain the world's largest vendor of mobile phones and smartphones in 2017 for the third straight year ahead of Apple.

According to the tech giant's annual sustainability report, released Friday, it took the top spot in the global market for standard mobiles phones and high-end smartphones in 2016 by gaining a market share of 19.2 percent and 20.8 percent, respectively.

Samsung also won the crown in both ranks in 2015 with 21.1 percent in mobile phones and 22.2 percent in smartphones.

'We stayed at the top in the global smartphone market in 2016 by providing an enriched user experience and smarter product capabilities, thereby solidifying our market leadership," Samsung said in the report."

Apple doesn't sell low and medium iPhone lines in the $200 range, so volume selling at the lower end of the market doesn't translate to being "smarter product capabilities," but rather contributes to a loss of profits. Apple makes the best selling high-end smartphone and makes over 82% of the industry's profits. That's leadership, not the fake news narrative from Samsung's propaganda machine.

The Samsung report further stated that "In 2017, we will use our top-notch R&D capabilities to introduce innovative products that push the boundaries of today's smartphone market and ensure unrivaled quality management to increase consumer benefits," it said. Yes, please, deliver more of that slick fire feature of 2016. Now that was truly a hot product that increased consumer benefits.

Expect more nonsensical marketing hype and hyperbole like this to emerge in the coming weeks and especially in the days and weeks after they launch their new Note 8 smartphone. As they do every year, it will be framed as the best selling smartphone where production just can't keep up with the strong demand and so on as they've falsely stated in previous years. It's like the movie groundhog day where the continuous loop of events make it all seem so new.

The South Korean technology firm recently used its flexible display technology in the award-winning Galaxy S6 Edge, which has a dual curved QHD screen. However this latest patent, which was published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, shows the company has bolder ambitions for its curved displays. The illustrations filed with the approved patent reveal a cylindrical hub, which houses the rolled display – which unfurls like a pair of window blinds. Why do Android fanboys hate admitting that Samsung copied Apple?

It's impossible to cover the mobile market without diving into the good ol' "iOS vs. Android" debate from time to time. These are the two biggest mobile platforms on the planet, so they're constantly being compared. Likewise, Samsung and Apple are the world's top two smartphone vendors, so their phones are constantly pitted against each other as well. Of course, there's another reason Apple and Samsung are often mentioned in the same breath: after entering the market, Samsung quickly grew to become the top mobile device maker on the planet thanks in large part to Apple. First, Samsung did everything it possibly could to copy Apple's iPhone and iPad. Then, it spent billions upon billions of dollars belittling Apple products in TV, online, and print advertising. Samsung spent years positioning its own devices as the cool alternative to Apple's iPhone, and its efforts paid off big time. Even now, Samsung continues to copy Apple all the time acro
