Samsung to Launch Galaxy J7 Pro & J7 Max Smartphones with Pay Mini Feature in India

After launching the flagship Galaxy S8 devices, Samsung is now all set to compete with the Chinese brands by launching their new mid-range devices. The company has sent out the media invites saying "Our next innovation is ready for the big launch". While the company hasn't mentioned anything about the devices that are going to be unveiled tomorrow, few sources confirmed the launch of two new Galaxy J devices. Both the Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max will be unveiled tomorrow at an event in New Delhi. Last week, Samsung also launched the Galaxy J3 (2017), Galaxy J5 (2017), and Galaxy J7 (2017) smartphones in Europe.

Along with the Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max devices, we also expect the company to introduce the Samsung Pay Mini here in India. Unlike the Samsung Pay, the Samsung Pay Mini works on all Android smartphones with a minimum of HD resolution display and should be running on Android Lollipop or above. However, the Samsung Pay Mini can't be accessed offline and has limited features than the Samsung Pay. While the Apple Pay and Android Pay works only with NFC-equipped payment terminals, the Samsung Pay can be used even with the regular swiping machines using the MST technology.

Talking about the devices, the Galaxy J7 Pro is already made available to pre-order in Vietnam, and it is the same Galaxy J7 (2017) which was launched last week. It comes with an all metal body and sports a 2.5D curved glass on the top. The Galaxy J7 Pro sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion and also supports dual SIM dual standy.

There is a 13MP rear shooter with f/1.7 aperture and another 13MP shooter on the front with f/1.9 aperture. Both the cameras come assisted with LED flash for capturing better images even in low light conditions. The physical home button on the front come equipped with the fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 3,600mAh non-removable battery that might easily last for a day long usage. On the connectivity front, it comes with Cat.6 LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C Port. The leaks suggest the device to feature 5.7-inch Full HD display but without the Super AMOLED panel. It might come with a MediaTek chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Galaxy J7 Max shares the same 13MP sensors as on the Galaxy J7 Pro. Both the devices will be running on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the TouchWiz UI laid on top. We can only confirm all these details once the devices are officially launched tomorrow. Until then, take them with a pinch of salt.
