Samsung Galaxy S7 will be release in 2016, but rumours on what the phone will feature have been doing the rounds. Reports claim that Samsung Galaxy S7 will be 10 per cent cheaper than its predecessor the Galaxy S6, although there's no saying how Samsung will eventually price the smartphones.
Most expect the Galaxy S7 to be launched in February, given that the S6 was launched around this time as well. We take a look at some of the other top rumours around the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Two processors: Benchmark scores of the Samsung Galaxy S7 have been leaked online, indicating the phone will come in two variant with different processors.
Sammobile reports that Samsung Galaxy S7 will have "the company's own Exynos 8890 chipset" and another variant will run the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 SoC. GeekBench benchmark scores of a so-called Galaxy S7 smartphone with Snapdragon 820 were also spotted on the Chinese website Weibo.

Cooling tech: Another report on Taiwan's Economic Daily News claims that Samsung plans to tackle the heating issues in the Snapdragon 820 processor by adding next generation heating pipes in its phones. Again we'll have to wait and see, if Samsung really adds this feature and whether it will be only for the Snapdragon version.

Little design change Another report in the Korean Times says that Samsung is planning very little design changes to the new Galaxy S7 and will stick with the metal and glass design, we saw in the S6 and the S6 edge.
This would make sense, given that we've seen the metal and glass design get extended to pretty much all the top-end Samsung devices like the Galaxy Note 5 and it has also been incorporated in the new Galaxy A series for 2016.
"As the S6 and S6 Edge represented progress, the S7 will have improvements both in picture quality, performance and other some new features. But because smartphones have already been commoditized, you don't need to spend more on a surface overhaul," a source is quoted by newspaper as saying.
Type-C USB and a microSD slot: Another report on Sammobile claims that the S7 will join the league to Type-C USB phones such as Nexus 6P, LG Nexus 5X and OnePlus 2 and ditch the micro-USB report.
Given that this is where the industry standard is headed, this should not come as a surprise. Samsung will also bring back the micro-SD slot with the S7, claim reports.
