As always, Samsung stays tight-lipped regarding the state of internal development and customization of proprietary ports based on the newest Android version, despite many of its rivals recently tackling Marshmallow matters head-on.
Obviously, that doesn't mean a bunch of Galaxy phones don't have 6.0 goodie packs very much on the way. It just means we won't know for sure their identities and update ETAs in the immediate future. Luckily, there are always inside sources willing to squeal, and such trusted informants have revealed a preliminary lineup of M-ready Samsungs to SamMobile.
All the usual suspects make the cut, with Lollipop follow-ups allegedly prepped for both 2014 and 2015 flagships. That includes the Galaxy Note 5, S6 Edge+, S6 Edge, S6, S5, and Note 4, but also the Note Edge.
Given it was never released on a wide scale around the world, and it didn't get a direct sequel back in August, we feared the single-curved 5.6-incher would be forgotten, or at least pushed down the priority list.
Apparently, the GNote Edge is deemed a "true", mainstream high-ender, or in any case, important enough to warrant an early jump to Android Marshmallow. Surprisingly, the same goes for the Galaxy S5 Neo, which broke cover a couple of months ago with a reiteration of the original S5's hardware.
Once again, the list is provisionary and clearly incomplete, if legit in the first place, with Galaxy A and E-series handhelds, possibly even J family members, simply part of a subsequent 6.0 promotion wave, presumably.
